Yesterday I found myself wondering whether momentum might be gentler than I’d always imagined.
It felt like an interesting thought, so I decided to play with it for a while. Not by trying to prove anything. Just by noticing what happened.
Then something unexpected happened.
An idea arrived. I let it sit for a while because there was no rush. It still felt interesting, so I followed it.
One small step led to another. Before I knew it, an offer that hadn’t existed first thing in the morning, and that I hadn’t taken any action on until after lunch, was finished and live on my website before I’d even had my evening meal.
It didn’t feel like pushing. It didn’t feel like forcing myself to stay motivated.
It was more like, “I’ll just do this next.”
Then, “I’ll just do that.”
Before I knew it, something that hadn’t existed a few hours earlier had quietly come into being.
Apparently gentle momentum isn’t confined to one little experiment. It seems to have a habit of quietly appearing elsewhere too.
I wonder where else I might notice it over the next few days.
